North Fork Cottages & RV Resort

Cottages and full-hookup RV sites on the edge of Greenport with a pool, picnic areas and easy access to North Fork wineries.

North Fork Cottages & RV Resort offers a mix of stand-alone cottages and full-hookup RV sites just outside downtown Greenport. With an outdoor pool, picnic and BBQ areas, it's a flexible, family-friendly base for exploring the wineries, beaches and Shelter Island ferry — a short drive or bike ride from the village. We've booked a two-bedroom cottage here for extended-family summer weeks and it hits a sweet spot no boutique on the North Fork can match — private kitchens, laundry, a yard, and a pool the kids can burn energy in while the adults regroup. Cottages vary in age; ask for one of the renovated units near the pool rather than the older lots closer to the road. The property is under-marketed relative to what it offers. Bike or Uber into Greenport for dinner (parking is easier if you leave the car at the cottage). Ideal for four-plus adults splitting costs across three days of tastings.

Rebrand and structure

The property now operates under the name North Fork Resort (nfresort.com), organized around five ways to stay: Park Model Cottages, Beechwood Cottages, Safari Tents, Yurts and Resort Lots. The site's navigation gives equal weight to an 'Ownership' section alongside nightly 'Reservations,' indicating the resort sells fractional or lot ownership in addition to renting accommodations to overnight guests. 1

Season

The resort is seasonal, open April 1 through November 30; at the time of research it was accepting reservations for the 2026 season. 1

On-site food and policies

There is an on-site Kitchen + Bar listed in the main navigation. Separate rental policy pages exist for RVs, park model cottages, the Beechwood cottages, safari tents and yurts, plus a general guest code of conduct and pet policy — worth checking directly for a specific accommodation type since rules differ by unit category. 1
