Topping Rose House
Hamptons luxury hotel with a Jean-Georges restaurant, full spa, and complimentary house car for guests.
Topping Rose pairs an 1842 Greek Revival mansion with a modern barn-style addition for 22 rooms total. Jean-Georges Vongerichten runs the kitchen using produce from the property's two-acre farm; amenities include a heated outdoor pool, spa, and a Tesla house car for in-Hamptons errands. Wölffer Estate is 10 minutes south. We splurged here for a milestone weekend and it's the closest thing to a full resort on the South Fork — the spa is genuinely excellent, the pool actually usable in shoulder season, and the Tesla house car is a real perk when parking in Bridgehampton village is impossible. Rooms in the modern barn are larger and quieter than the mansion. Dinner is worth doing once; the farm-driven brunch is arguably the better meal. Book Wölffer for a 2pm tasting the next day — the house car will drop you and pick you up. Not a value pick; expect $1,000+ nights in July.
