Southold Social

Farm-to-table North Fork bistro on Southold's Main Road — seasonal New American plates, weekend brunch, and a regional wine list. (In the former Caci North Fork space.)

Southold Social is a farm-to-table bistro showcasing the seasonal flavours of the North Fork — locally-sourced produce, seafood and a tightly-edited Long Island wine list. The dining room is relaxed and neighbourhood-friendly, with weekend brunch service and a popular private events programme. Reservations on Resy. The space previously housed Caci North Fork. We've stopped here twice in the last year on our way back from Bedell tastings. The kitchen leans into what's actually growing that week — last September it was corn agnolotti with a Lenz Gewürztraminer that the server pulled for us unprompted. Brunch is quieter than Love Lane Kitchen and easier to get a walk-in table. Book a 6pm on Friday if you want a proper date-night pace; by 8 the room turns lively with locals. Pair it with a stay at Sannino B&B for a proper eat-drink-sleep-in-the-vines weekend.

Hours and getting a table

Southold Social keeps a five-night schedule: Wednesday and Thursday 5:00–8:30pm, Friday and Saturday 5:00–9:00pm, and Sunday 4:00–8:00pm, closed Tuesdays 1. Reservations run through Resy rather than a phone line, which matters on North Fork weekends when several nearby wineries close tasting rooms around 5pm and diners arrive in a wave.

The menus

The site publishes separate dinner, wine and dessert menus as downloadable pages rather than posted prices, so specific dish costs aren't listed publicly 1. The dinner menu is built around the same seasonal, locally-sourced approach described on the homepage — farm and bay ingredients from the surrounding Southold area.

Events and private dining

Beyond nightly service, Southold Social runs a standing events and catering program and a recurring weekly-events calendar, making the space a option for private parties as well as walk-in dinners 1.

Where it sits on the trail

The Main Road address puts it within a few minutes of Pellegrini, Lenz and Bedell, and it sits in the building that formerly held Caci North Fork — useful context for anyone using an older map or GPS listing that still shows the previous name.
