Contact LI Wine Guide
Reach the editor with corrections, listing updates, story tips or reader questions. Every message goes to a person who works on the guide.
What to send, and where it goes
Corrections. If something here is wrong or out of date, send the page and the specific statement, plus the correct information. Our corrections policy explains how reports are reviewed and how quickly we act.
Listing updates from operators. If you run a winery, restaurant or hotel we cover, you can submit changes to hours, policies, ownership, closures or descriptions. The fastest route is the update link on your own listing page, which routes the change straight to the editor for verification. Editorial assessments are not for sale, but factual details should always be right, and we want your corrections.
Story tips. New plantings, a winemaker change, a release worth tasting, a property opening or closing — tips from people on the ground are how regional coverage stays current.
Reader questions. Trip-planning questions are welcome. We cannot build a custom itinerary for everyone, but questions that come up repeatedly usually become a guide, so asking helps.
Partnership and advertising enquiries. These are handled separately from editorial and never affect coverage, ranking or inclusion. Our position on commercial relationships is set out in the affiliate disclosure and editorial standards pages.
Privacy requests. Access, export, correction or deletion of personal data, and opt-outs, are covered in the privacy policy and handled through the privacy address listed there.
Response times
We are a small editorial operation, so responses take a few business days and are slower in the middle of harvest. Corrections and safety-relevant errors are prioritised over everything else.
What makes a report easy to act on
The most useful messages contain three things: the page in question, the exact statement that is wrong, and the correct information. If you can point to a source — an operator's own website, a menu, a licence record, a published announcement — we can verify and fix it the same day rather than opening a round of correspondence.
For listing updates from a business, tell us which details changed and when the change takes effect. Seasonal closures, new reservation requirements and kitchen changes are the three things most likely to be out of date on any regional guide, and they are the ones we most want to hear about before the weekend.
What we cannot do
We cannot arrange reservations, tastings, transport or accommodation on your behalf, and we cannot guarantee coverage in response to a pitch. We also do not publish sponsored posts, paid guest articles, link insertions or paid inclusion in roundups, so those enquiries will be declined regardless of the offer — the reasoning is set out in our editorial standards.
Before you write
If your question is about hours, tasting fees or reservations at a specific property, the operator's own site is faster and more reliable than we are; every listing page here links to it directly. If your question is about planning a trip, the visitor guide and plan my weekend pages answer most of what arrives in the inbox.
